University of Memphis School of Public Health signed an international education agreement with University of Minho, Portugal

October 11, 2023 - The University of Memphis School of Public Health, and University of Minho agreed to implement an International Education Agreement to enhance the educational experience and the cross-cultural understanding of students from both institutions. This agreement has been established to facilitate a student international education program at the partner institution enabling students working towards a degree at one institution to take classes and participate in innovative initiatives at the other institution. This includes the Undergraduate and Masters programs, Interdisciplinary Public Health Certificate program, and the REAIM Public Health Ideas Through the Lens of the Youth program.

These programs are designed to sensitize youth about the importance of public health and providing them with critical skills to address public health problems. Eligibility is for students who are in grade 11 or 12 or are currently enrolled as an undergraduate student.
