Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management

Program Overview

 

Our curriculum covers supply management, operations and logistics, with opportunities for a deep dive into such topics as business solutions for sustainability, lean SCM and supply chain analytics. The department offers tracks for a SCM major or minor. Supply Chain Management majors are strongly encouraged to complete an internship. And, with Memphis being the home of many logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution and manufacturing companies, students have limitless opportunities.

 

Degree Outline

 

  1. General Education Courses = 41 hours
    • Communication = 9 hours
    • Humanities / Fine Arts = 9 hours (At least one course must be in literature.)
    • Social / Behavioral Sciences = 6 hours
      • ECON 2010 & ECON 2020 are required in this section
    • History = 6 hours
    • Natural Sciences = 8 hours
    • Mathematics = 3 hours

  2. Marketing Major Requirements = 24 hours

  3. Electives + Lower & Upper Division Business Core Courses = as needed to bring the total hours earned to 120.
