Dr. Amy de Jongh Curry Recognized as 2025 MJEC Featured Engineer SWE Memphis Section

Dr. Curry Named 2025 Featured Engineer

Dr. Amy de Jongh Curry has been honored as the 2025 Featured Engineer for the SWE Memphis Section by the Memphis-Area Joint Engineers Council (MJEC). She received this recognition at the MJEC’s E-Week Kickoff Luncheon on February 12, 2025, in celebration of her leadership, advocacy for women in engineering, and contributions to the field.

A dedicated educator and researcher at the University of Memphis, Dr. Curry specializes in cardiac and neural electrophysiology with applications in neuro-modulation and implantable devices. She currently serves as the FY25 Secretary for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and has held numerous leadership roles, including past SWE Memphis President.

Amy’s passion for mentorship, diversity, and inclusion in engineering continues to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals.
