UG BME's Tibirni Yusuf (@jennings_lab), Jada Sandridge (@GaryBowlin7), & Samantha Hall (@bumgardnerjd) presented their research at the 20th Tennessee Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (TLSAMP) Conference. Conference was hosted by Tennessee State University. The goal of TLSAMP is to increase the number of minority students majoring in STEM disciplines who enter STEM graduate degree programs. The conference allowed STEM undergraduates from ten institutions across the state of Tennessee to present their research, learn about the importance of terminating degrees, and explore graduate school opportunities and resources.
