COUNSELING SERVICES
There are several free or low-cost options for counseling for law students.
The University of Memphis Counseling Center
Counseling appointments are available for law students. Services are free for currently enrolled students. You can find more information about available services here.

Students experiencing crisis during business hours can visit our virtual waiting room, come to Wilder Tower on main campus (Room 214), or can make a crisis appointment by calling 901.678.2068. Crisis appointments are available between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and students can be seen briefly to assess for safety, schedule an appointment or refer as appropriate.

University of Memphis Psychological Services Center
The University of Memphis Psychological Services Center also offers counseling services at a reduced cost ($12/hour) for full-time students. Call 901.678.2147 to schedule an appointment. You can find more information here. (Note: there is no limit to the amount of sessions permitted, unlike the University of Memphis, which has semester limits on the number of visits by each student).
Centers for Good Grief
In addition, The Baptist Centers for Good Grief offer free individual grief counseling to all ages, as young as 4 years old and no cap on the adult age. You can find more information here. Appointments are scheduled Monday-Friday, from 9am-4pm. Call 901-861-5656 to schedule an appointment.
