Student Research
A number of both undergraduate and graduate students in the Department are actively involved in cutting-edge research with our faculty members. Research is an essential part of our graduate programs, including M.S. projects and M.S./Ph.D. theses. Students who are involved in research may receive academic credit via independent study and thesis/dissertation courses.
Each spring, the Department holds a Research Day where students can share their work and get feedback from faculty and other students. Prizes are awarded to the top students. The Research Project Archive contains examples of past student projects presented at Research Day.
