Reverse Transfer
Reverse Transfer is a process that allows students who have transferred to the University of Memphis from a Tennessee community college to combine credits to apply those credits toward an associate degree.
Participants in the program will have their academic history, including their academic history at the UofM, evaluated by their two-year institutions to determine if they have fulfilled requirements for an associate degree.
Reverse Transfer Eligibility and Participation
To be eligible to participate in the Tennessee Reverse Transfer Program, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a currently enrolled student who transferred from a Tennessee community college
- Have a minimum of 15 Tennessee community college credits
- Have a combined minimum of 60 college credits
Eligible transfer students will be contacted by email with an invitation to participate in the Reverse Transfer program. The emails typically are sent in late January and February for Spring and August and early September for Fall.
