The University of Memphis Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music is excited to roll out our summer program at the Scheidt. From elementary students to high school teachers, we have summer sessions to help musicians and music lovers stretch their creativity, grow their musical skills, and expand their knowledge. Boasting a world-class faculty, attendees will learn through masterclasses, lectures, hands-on activities, rehearsals, and performances.

2024 Summer Camp Sessions

Turn it up at the Summer at the Scheidt Music Camp hosted by the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music. Our week-long sessions will stretch your creativity, grow your musical skills, and expand your knowledge. You will work with our expert faculty through masterclasses, lectures, hands-on activities, rehearsals, and performances.  Plus, you can create your unique experience with our extensive list of electives that lets you try new things, meet new friends and have fun.

2024 Orff Summer Institute

The University of Memphis Orff Summer Institute is one of the longest-operating Orff Certification Programs in the country. Learn to engage your students in joyful music-making and dance while you develop supportive connections with instructors and colleagues in this two-week teacher education course. Our engaging and accomplished faculty will make this an educational, inspiring, and transformative experience for you.
