Our esteemed presenters include faculty, administrators, and students, delving into key topics to help you seamlessly navigate and embark on your graduate school journey.

Each month’s open house will have an exciting theme and topic. From continuing your academic pursuits, career development, to exploring new opportunities, our monthly UofM Graduate School Virtual Open Houses are a great resource. We will have representatives from our programs, supporting departments, and community partners that can answer your questions about programs of study, opportunities, how to apply, career opportunities, etc.
STUDENT RESEARCH FORUM
The University of Memphis Student Research Forum, open only to students enrolled at the University of Memphis, is an annual event which showcases the diverse research of undergraduate and graduate students. The purpose is to provide an outlet for students matriculating at the University of Memphis to present their research to a panel of faculty judges in their respective disciplines. This forum enables students to develop their presentation skills and present their research in a formal, supportive environment.

NEDXSTUDENTS
NEDtalks is a bi-annual research forum hosted by the Ned McWherter Library where UofM faculty, instructors, and students share recent research in engaging & entertaining short-form presentations in the TEDtalks style. One event of the year is dedicated to UofM faculty & instructors. The second event, NEDxStudents, is dedicated to UofM students. The Libraries partners with the Graduate School and Helen Hardin Honors College for NEDxStudents, and a panel of judges awards the best presentation of each day a monetary prize.
