Welcome to the University of Memphis Disability Resources for Students (DRS). The role of DRS is to facilitate equal access to University classes, programs, and activities for students with disabilities. In order to accomplish this goal, DRS takes a 3-pronged approach:

• Accessible design of campus environments- DRS serves as a resource for faculty, staff, and administrators on creating accessible and inclusive environments.
• Individual accommodations- DRS is the campus department designated by the University to work with students through an interactive process to establish disability status and approve requests for reasonable accommodations.
• Education-DRS provides training and educational programming to reduce stigma surrounding the disability experience.

In keeping with our role as a resource for the University community, this website was designed to provide information to students, parents, faculty, staff, and administrators.
