William B. Baggett earned a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Memphis in 1998. He also holds an MS in Computer Science and an MBA in Management Information Systems. William is currently an Instructor of Computer Science at the University of Memphis. Previously, William was a Project Coordinator in the same department, where he worked on DeepTutor. DeepTutor is an intelligent tutoring system which uses natural language dialog to teach conceptual physics to high school and college students. William has also been a Professor and part-time Department Chair of Computer Information Systems at Strayer University. And for ten years, William was a Business Analyst at FedEx Express where he wrote detailed software requirements for PowerPad, a handheld computer carried by FedEx Express couriers.
