Paper Accepted at ACM CHI 2017

PhD student Austin Henley (below left), Prof. Scott Fleming (below right), and BS/MS alumna Maria Luong have had a paper accepted at ACM CHI 2017.
Austin led the work for the paper, entitled "Toward Principles for the Design of Navigation Affordances in Code Editors: An Empirical Investigation." The work was supported by National Instruments and performed on-site at their campus in Austin, TX.
CHI is the top venue for human-computer interaction research. With this acceptance, the Department has been represented in the CHI program 5 out of the last 6 years.
