Master of Science in Nursing - Nursing Education

Ranked #17 nationally by the U.S. News and World Report, the Loewenberg College of Nursing’s online graduate nursing programs provide quality, flexible education at an affordable cost. The master of science in nursing education track is one of three offered by the College.

The master’s in nursing education track is a 31-credit hour program that prepares the student as a nurse educator to teach in schools of nursing programs and in various health care system settings. Students in this master’s degree in nursing education will learn about nursing and educational theories, learning strategies, curricular development, program planning and develop skills in different teaching methodologies. The master of nursing education online program grounds nursing education studies in advanced nursing research and foundational nursing theory, as well as more specialized focuses in healthcare policy and advanced role development.

  • 2.8 GPA (minimum)
  • RN license (active)
  • Please note: GRE is NOT required
