About Jacquelyn Pence
Dr. Jacquelyn Pence earned her doctorate in chemical and biomolecular engineering at the University of Illinois. In 2019, she went on to do postdoctoral training in the study of normal bone development in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
Dr. Pence joined the faculty the University of Memphis in 2019 as a Research Assistant Professor. She is responsible for coordination and execution of research studies in the Center for Nutraceutical and Dietary Supplement Research and the Cardiorespiratory/Metabolic Laboratory. Since beginning in the College of Health Sciences, she has coordinated and assisted with over a dozen research studies largely focusing on the various health benefits of different dietary supplements.
