If you are interested in the science of hearing, you like working with people of all ages, and you want to significantly change people’s lives, the University of Memphis has a highly-ranked, nationally respected Doctor of Audiology program, with a broad range of training experiences.  

Audiologists are the primary professionals delivering hearing, balance, tinnitus, hearing devices, and speech perception services for all ages and populations.  

The entry level degree is a Doctor of Audiology (AuD), which is a four-year degree post bachelors—three years of pre-professional coursework and clinical training and a one-year offsite residency.

  • Prior CSD (Communication Sciences and Disorders) coursework is not required for admission to the AuD program
  • A bachelor’s degree in any area of study is all that is needed to begin our program.
