Women’s and Gender Studies Minor

The WGST minor is an interdisciplinary program for undergraduate students interested in exploring constructions of gender and sexuality. Students are exposed to feminist, womanist, and queer theory and perspectives through diverse readings and case studies. They learn how gender intersects with other social identities such as sexuality, race, ethnicity, class, and ability. Engaging projects and internship opportunities allow WGST students to first analyze and then challenge systems of power and structural inequities.
