Master of Arts in Romance Languages – Spanish Concentration

Our award-winning faculty prepares students for careers in teaching, translation, interpretation, or doctoral studies, as well as professions like healthcare and law. We offer flexible afternoon classes so you can maintain your job or apply for a graduate assistantship. 

Program Highlights

  • 2-year program (33 credit hours)
  • Courses in Pedagogy, Literature, Culture, Film, Spanish for the Professions, Linguistics, and Translation & Interpretation
  • Study abroad opportunities available
  • Graduate Assistantships (tuition waiver + stipend)
  • Accelerated B.A./M.A. option—up to 12 credit hours might be shared, counting towards both degrees
  • Licensed teachers can complete the program in just 3 semesters
