The French Club

The French Club at the University of Memphis has a variety of events for people who enjoy learning about the French language and francophone cultures. Whatever your level is in French, please come and join in. For more information, please visit their Facebook page. 

Pi Delta Phi (French Honor Society)

The local chapter of Pi Delta Phi elects new members every spring who have been nominated by their instructors for their excellence in French language and Francophone cultures. Activities include the annual initiation ceremony, as well as occasional lectures, dinners, and visits to exhibits of French art. For more information, please contact Dr. Ralph Albanese.

Language Fair

The Department of World Languages and Literatures sponsors a Language Fair for high school students every spring, featuring contests, performances, and career information. French students are urged to attend and help judge and coordinate activities.
