Summer 2024 Undergraduate & Graduate Calendar

Please note that all Course Fees and Material Fees are non-refundable after the start of the first day of the course. Carefully review the registration dates and corresponding fee payment deadlines below. If students are not planning to attend, courses should be dropped promptly to avoid owing fees.
April 1	Priority Registration for Summer 2024 begins (Space Availability Registration is April 30, 2024. See below for more details.)
April 15	Employment Certification for fee waivers and discounts forms must be completed, signed and dated April 15 or later. Note: All forms must be received by the end of the term.
April 19	eBills available online on TigerXpress for all students enrolled in any Summer 2024 part-of-term. Students will be notified by email (U of M email address) when eBills are available and by text messaging if signed up on TigerXpress to receive text messages. April 8	GA Contracts due to Graduate School
April 29	Fee Payment Deadline for Summer 2024 semester by 4:30 p.m. for students registered in Pre-Summer Session Courses.
April 30	First day UofM, TBR, UT, other state colleges and universities, and state employees (PC191) fee waiver participants, students or Senior Citizen Reduced Tuition for Credit (Seniors 65 years old)/Tuition Waiver for Audit (Seniors 60 years old) may register for Summer classes. Note: Students who register prior to this date will be denied the opportunity to use a space-available fee waiver program for this semester.
May 6	First Day of Class (Pre-Summer Session) $200 Late Fee begins for students enrolling in Pre-Summer Session Courses. Fee will be assessed to all students not paid-in-full and any initial registrations. BAPP (Bookstore Advance Payment Plan) opens.
May 8	100% Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadline (Pre-Summer Session Courses Only).
May 9	50% Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadline (Pre-Summer Session Courses Only).
May 17	BAPP (Bookstore Advance Payment Plan) closes.
May 21	Fee Payment Deadline for Summer 2024 semester by 4:30 p.m. for all registered students.
May 23	Last day of Pre-Summer Session Courses.
May 28	First Day of Class (Full-Term and 1st part-of-term courses only). $200 Late Fee begins for students enrolling in Full Summer Session Courses or 1st part-of-term Summer Courses. Fee will be assessed to all students not paid-in-full and any initial registrations.
May 31	100% Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadline (1st part-of-term session courses only).
June 4	100% Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadline (Full term session courses only). 50% Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadline (1st part-of-term session courses only).
June 11	50% Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadline (Full term session courses only).
June 24	Fee Payment Deadline for Summer 2024 semester by 4:30 p.m. for all registered students.
June 27	Last day of classes for 1st Part-of-term Summer Session Courses.
July 1	First Day of Class (2nd part-of-term courses only).
July 4	100% Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadline (2nd part-of-term session courses only).
July 8	50% Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadline (2nd part-of-term session courses only).
August 1	Last day of classes for Full term and 2nd Part-of-term Summer Session Courses.

PLEASE NOTE:

All courses must be paid in full by the designated Fee Payment Deadline.
Students who decide not to attend must drop that course(s) from their schedule.
Fees adjustments will be refunded based on the day of the drop and the University fee adjustment schedule.
When making schedule adjustments, courses may evenly exchange ONLY if they are the same number of hours, for the same part-of-term, and are both UofM courses (TN eCampus courses do not qualify). Course/Material fees may still apply.

The University reserves the right to make changes to the schedule as necessary to be consistent with University policies and procedures.
