Please note: If you decide to withdraw completely from the University, your courses should be dropped promptly per the Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadlines for each term to avoid owing fees.

Summer 2023 Law Fee Payment Deadlines
Fee Payment Deadlines: Carefully review the registration dates and corresponding fee payment below. Please note that all Course Fees and Material Fees are non-refundable after the start of the first day of the course. The Installment Payment Plan (IPP) is offered for the summer term to help satisfy payment requirements by the appropriate fee payment deadline. If students are not planning to attend, courses should be dropped promptly to avoid owing fees.
April 3	Priority Registration for Summer 2023 begins
April 15	Deadline to submit Departmental Fee Waivers to University & Student Business Services Office
April 24	eBills available online on TigerXpress Students will be notified by email (U of M email address) when eBills are available and by text messaging if signed up on TigerXpress to receive text messages.
May 2	GA Contracts due to Graduate School
May 15	Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) for students who register through May 15, 2023.
*May 16-22	Late Registration ($100 Late Registration Fee)
May 19	Fee Payment Deadline (4:30 p.m.) for students who register through May 19, 2023.
May 23	Fee Payment Deadline for Late Registration (4:30 p.m.)
May 24	Deadline to sign up for eRefunds (direct deposit) on TigerXpress for processing excess financial aid/scholarship refunds as available for the initial direct deposit. NOTE: Students who miss this deadline should still sign up in preparation for subsequent disbursements.
May 24	Financial Aid Disbursement for Summer
May 24	eRefunds (direct deposit) will begin to post to students' University accounts.
May 26	100% Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadline - Law
May 27 - June 2	50% Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadline – Law
June 1	Fee Payment Deadline for Late Registration (4:30 p.m.) to avoid the assessment of a $100 Late Payment Fee.
June 2	Financial Aid Disbursement for Summer - Checks will be sent to the Post Office for mailing.
June 3 - July 18	0% Fee Adjustment/Refund Deadline - Law
*Students who receive permission to register after Late Registration from the Dean of their major must prepay all fees in full, including the assessment of a $100 Late Registration Fee and a $100 Late Payment Fee prior to being registered.

PLEASE NOTE:

All courses must be paid in full by the Fee Payment Deadline.
Students who decide not to attend or decide to drop a course(s) must drop that course(s) from their schedule. Fees for dropping courses may be adjusted based on the refund policy in effect on the date the course(s) were dropped.
