Campus Events - Goals & Accomplishments by Year

2022-2023

Goals:

• Assist in developing a comprehensive location where information regarding effective event planning can be easily accessed.
  
  
• Provide a checklist and guide for steps toward planning accessible events.

Accomplishments:

• Created the “Planning Inclusive Events” presentation, initially presented for the University Library staff

2021-2022

Goals:

• Identify key university representatives to provide input regarding policies and procedures of on –campus events.
  
  
• Collaborate in the development of a system for persons to provide feedback regarding their event experience. It is important to know not only that the events are accessible, but also the process to host or coordinate the event.

Accomplishments:

• Developed a checklist and guide for steps toward planning accessible events

2020-2021

Goals:

• Identify additional departments within the university that regularly hosts events, and secure representation from those areas.

Accomplishments:

• Secured representation from multiple university divisions and departments
