2023-24

Goals:

• Create and implement an outreach plan for SensusAccess.

• Develop recommendations on accessibility and learning modalities.

2022-23

Goals:

• Integrate SensusAccess LTI into Canvas and promote the tool campus wide.

• Research accessibility and learning modalities to make recommendations on allowing for flexibility in modalities offered.

Accomplishments:

• SensusAccess LTI was integrated into the Canvas LMS and presented it to the Teaching and Learning Advisory Committee.
  
  
• Workgroup on accessibility and learning modalities research was developed.
  
  
• Digital accessibility information was migrated to the new University Accessibility Committee website and split between digital accessibility and teaching and learning accessibility.

2021-22

Goals:

• Develop a centrally located repository for digital accessibility information.

• Select an enterprise video captioning solution.

• Identify any additional services that should be integrated in the LMS to enhance accessibility.

Accomplishments:

• Digital Access Resources section added to Accessibility Resources page of the University of Memphis Office for Institutional Equity website.

• Canvas Studio was selected as an enterprise video captioning solution.

• SensusAccess accessibility conversion software was selected as a service to be integrated in the LMS.
