Let's Get Started

Congratulations on  being hired at the University of Memphis! On or after your first day of employment, visit us in Administration Building room 100 for your personalized letter that will help create your e-mail account. One of the first things you will need to do is initialize your account. The personalized letter provided to you by Human Resources will contain the 20-digit account code to activate your account. 

To Activate Your Account:

• Once you have your 20-digit account code, go to the iAM Memphis Website. (https://iam.memphis.edu/)
• Select Initialize Your Account.
• Enter the 20-digit account code and your date of birth.
• Establish 3 security questions and answers. (Note: This will be helpful should you ever forget or need to change your password.)
• Set up Duo, a system that offers a second layer of protection to help keep your information safe. More information about Duo, and how to set up DUO for your UofM account can be found here.

Note: If you did not receive your account code or have lost it, you can obtain account code by calling the umTech Service Desk at 901.678.8888 or visiting the Service Desk in Administration Building, room 100.
