How can I get an account on the HPC system?
The University's central HPC system is used in computationally intensive research by researchers from various departments across campus. Those engaged in computational intensive research can request an account on the HPC system.
How can I get application software installed on the HPC system?
HPC application software can be installed centrally on the HPC system by the HPC staff. Additionally, users can install software in their home directories.
How can I get help with application software which is installed on the HPC system?
The HPC staff can provide some limited help with application packages installed on the system. However, since the HPC staff does not include application experts, help with specific applications is limited.
How can I arrange for a consultation session regarding use of the HPC system?
The HPC staff provides general help regarding the use of the HPC system and some limited help with application packages.
Can the HPC system be made available for the students in a class I'm teaching?
Yes, but either the students will have to apply for an account individually or you will need to provide a list of students in the class including their UUIDs.
