Mission

The mission of UofM TRIO is to increase the retention and graduation of students who are first-generation, low-income, or students who have a documented disability.

Goal

Foster an institutional climate supportive of the success of targeted participants by providing educational support & intrusive interventions that cater to individual needs while emphasizing academic excellence.

Primary Services

Assist with academic, financial, & personal skills, the application process for financial aid & scholarships, as well as securing admissions in graduate & professional school. Expose participants to the process of career exploration.
