Travelennium

Travelers have the option to make all official air, hotel, car and bus reservations, for individuals and groups, through the University’s travel agent, Travelennium.  All bookings handled by Travelennium will be made in accordance with the University of Memphis travel policy guidelines and the lowest logical airfare available at time of booking is guaranteed. Travelennium has access to negotiated hotel discounts at over 30,000 properties worldwide, as well as rental car rates not available to the general public.

Reservations booked through Travelennium prevent risky travel and ensure both the traveler and the University can receive real-time updates and information about weather, health, official travel warnings and other events.  All travel information is stored in one accessible source, so that the University knows where every traveler is at any given time. In addition, the traveler has access to a 365-day, 24-hour toll free emergency service.  

  • Your UofM travel card or personal credit card will be required at the time of booking.
  • Reservations can be made by phone, email or GetThere, the University’s online booking tool. Contact Peggy Robinson at 901.762.7017 to register and obtain access.

Due to airline carrier heightened security and FAA regulations, the purchases of non-refundable airline tickets are what they are: non-refundable. Once a non-refundable ticket is issued, it must be re-issued in the same name as originally ticketed. Airline carriers no longer allow name changes under any circumstances on a non-refundable ticket. Tickets must be issued with the full name as it appears on the traveler's picture ID. Birth dates and gender are also needed to be issued a ticket.
