Faculty & Staff

Title IX and federal laws and regulations protect students as well as faculty and staff. Our office is dedicated to making sure our campus community is a safe place for all its employees. The University of Memphis Prevention Program regularly presents to faculty and staff groups about their rights and responsibilities under University policy and federal law.

Additionally, faculty and staff members often hear about traumatic events that their students experience through student disclosures, witnessing events, and from other students. Our goal is to equip faculty and staff members with the tools to comply with University policy, appropriately refer students, and to support students who experience sexual misconduct.
