Band Organizations

Bands are a special student organization where musicality, sportsmanship and competition find a home. Music groups need to be especially vigilant for signs of hazing because research showed that high school students who had been involved in band in high school had been hazed. It's a difficult cycle to break. Many of the honorary band organizations and professional band organizations have statements prohibiting hazing.
