Starting in Fall 2022, Adult self referral and grant related adult referral options will be available!
SMART Center currently offers number of services as part of a grant given by the Urban
Child Institute (UCI) for FREE until 2022. Please, contact us for further information
about whether you qualify for these grant services. If you do not qualify for the
grant supports, the SMARTCenter has a number of program options for you to choose
from. School districts can negotiate a contracted rate for services, and individual
families and clients can call regarding cost of services (We offer a fee for service
with a sliding scale) and insurance billing options (once options become available
in 2022). Projected rates start at $30 for individual and group sessions, private
and bill to insurance. The SMART Center is also working to credential with a number
of MCOs to be able to bill insurance. We hope to have this process completed by Fall
2022. Please check back often for a list of insurance companies we are credentialed
with and are currently accepting. Once we are able to bill insurance, we will be able
to widely open these services to individuals, youth and families in the community
that do not fall under a grant or school contract.
We also provide affordable contract services to local public schools who do not have
efficient behavioral and mental health services or who need training or consultation
on topics of mental/ behavioral health and tele-health programming. Please contact
us to discuss the contract options SMARTCenter@memphis.edu.
