WIT Index

The Women In Trucking Association (WIT) has partnered with the University of Memphis to create the WIT Index, which will begin the process of tracking the percentage of women in the trucking industry for carriers in the United States. The goal of the Index is two-fold, first to establish baseline values of women in the trucking industry and second to ultimately track workforce trends. The WIT Index will also provide insight into identifying areas with the greatest needs in terms of diversity and potential strategies that may be useful in attracting more women to the transportation profession.  

Below is a brief survey for companies interested in being included in the inaugural WIT Index.
