SETWC Transportation Academy for High School Students

The SETWC Transportation Academy for high school students is designed to showcase the diversity of career
opportunities in transportation, with particular emphasis on the robust transportation and logistics industry in
Memphis. The Academy includes both an intensive summer institute and academic-year workshops so that
students remain engaged with program faculty and industry leaders throughout an entire calendar year. The
goal of the Academy is to increase the number of students intentionally choosing transportation as their career
pathway.

The 2018 Transportation Academy will be held June 11-15 at the Herff College of Engineering on the University of Memphis campus.  This year's program will feature a variety of exciting learning opportunities, including experience using geographic information systems, hands-on team STEM challenges, engaging industry speakers, field trips, and much more!  The program is free to students due to the generous support of our sponsors.  Space is limited- click here download our program flyer and apply today!
