Research+Innovation Tactical Plan: Collaboration

We seek partnerships both within and beyond the University to enhance our actions and maximize our outcomes.

1. Engage with individuals, departments and divisions across campus to strengthen communication efforts.
2. Facilitate national and international collaborations, particularly those related to large-scale funding opportunities or growth of niche expertise.
3. Explore avenues for synergy with other local universities, research organizations and in the private sector.
4. Develop and facilitate processes conducive to transitioning our research programs, intellectual property and resources into business partnerships.
5. Enhance our public relation procedures to inform the local community of our successes in obtaining funding, publications and patents.
