Victim Services
Our experienced team members address student concerns as it relates to victimization. The University's mission is to provide a non-threatening environment where everyone feels safe and secure. Victim coordinators serve to addresses students being victimized by various acts of criminal activity and exist to assist students with navigating through the criminal justice process and community resources that exist off campus by reviewing situations/incidents, information gathering and sharing, and providing recommendations to ensure the safety, mental, and emotional success of the student. The Victim Coordinator does not replace other classroom management or disciplinary processes, nor does it address student's behaviors that serve in the role of someone who has victimized another student. Victim Coordinator do not replace the role of professionals that require students to seek immediate health, police, or mental health attention.
