School of Public Health featured in University of Memphis Magazine, Summer 2024

June 18, 2024 - The University of Memphis Magazine, Summer 2024 was released this week. In this Summer 2024 edition the School of Public health and Dean Ashish Joshi were featured. On page 8, SPH is recognized for being the co-recipient of the Harrison C. Spencer Award for Outstanding Community Service. An article titled, “Reimagining Public Health Education” by Omar Sommereyns is featured on page 54. In this article, the work of SPH, under the leadership of Dean Joshi, is highlighted for its investment in youth health and well-being. Dean Joshi is quoted, “Investing in youth health and well-being is essential to economic growth and social change.”
