UofM SPH signed an international education agreement with the College of Public Health and Health Information King Saudi bin Abdulaziz University of Health Sciences

December, 2024 - The University of Memphis School of Public Health, and the College of Public Health and Health Informatics King Saudi bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences agree to implement an International Education MOU. This Memorandum of Understanding facilitates creation of a collaborative "Center for Population Health Interventions and Outcomes" to facilitate academic program offerings, research collaborations including publications and presentations, faculty and student exchange, guest speaker series and participation in REAIM public health initiative through the lens of the youth.

This center will become a knowledge hub of evidence-based population health interventions through academic excellence and collaborative academic pipeline programs, innovative research including joint research projects, submission of research proposals for funding opportunities, collaborative publications and presentations, faculty exchange, experiential learning opportunities for students and participation in strategic special projects including the REAIM Public Health IDEAS through the lens of the youth initiative aimed to sensitize high school youth about public health and the challenges and solutions needed to address them in the 21st century.
