Discussed Collaborative Opportunities in European Public Health Association Conference in Lisbon, Portugal

November 13-15, 2024 - "It was great to attend the European Public Health Association conference in Lisbon, Portugal and had an opportunity to meet the leadership of APHER including Robert Otok, Director ASPHER, Henrique Barros, President ASPHER, Ramunė Kalėdienė, Professor, PhD, MPH Head of the Dept. of Health Management, Faculty of Public Health, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, and Paul Barach, who leads ASPHER's efforts on teaching and training for disaster management and leadership, community resilience and medical preparedness for complex emergencies and disasters.

It was truly an amazing meeting with several potential collaborative opportunities, discussed." Dr. Ashish Joshi says.

At the European Public Health Association conference, dean Ashish Joshi also discussed the possible opportunities of collaboration and the possibility of establishing public health clubs in schools in Malta and Portugal with Professor Rafaela, University of Minho, and Professor Neville Calleja.
