University of Memphis School of Public Health establishes public health club in a school in an international setting.
In an effort to enhance and expand public health education at the school level, UofM SPH established public health club in SDRV Convent school. Affiliated to CBSE located in Dankaur, Greater Noida India that serves predominantly first-generation learners and is also the only affiliated school in this semi- urban area.
Dean Joshi emphasized the importance of public health education, research and community engagement across local and global settings and how this network of public health clubs across different schools here locally in Memphis and in the state of TN and globally can facilitate young minds to work together towards creating innovative and creative solutions to address public health challenges in the 21st century.
This will help create awareness about public health at all levels of education and facilitate developing a glocal hub of public health knowledge and round people can work together across different settings and share with each other the ways on how various public health problems are being addressed in diverse settings says Dean Joshi.

SDRV Convent School is a co–educational Senior Secondary School, established since 2009, affiliated to CBSE located in Dankaur, Greater Noida, India. This is the only affiliated school in this Semi-Urban area.
