The University of Memphis Master of Health Administration Program has been continuously accredited since 1995 by the Accrediting Commission for Education in Health Services Administration which later became the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). CAHME ensures that Master of Health Administration programs provide a high-quality, competency-based education that meets comprehensive national standards. Students who attend accredited programs are able to take advantage of scholarships, experiential learning opportunities, and post-graduate fellowships that are exclusively offered to those from CAHME-accredited programs. The UofM MHA program is the only CAHME-accredited MHA program in Tennessee.
