Travel & Reimbursement with Shared Services

Project Scope:
Review the 2014 TBR travel policy updates; identify the pains and issues with the current process. Identify and implement improvements for the traveler using the Shared Service Center and reduce paper handling.

PROPOSED TIMELINE: July 2015


Project Outcomes:
  • Team reviewed and finalized the process. 
  • Travel helpdesk ticket form will be updated to allow the entry of the Financial Manager.
  • Manager of the Shared Services Center will present at various group meetings.
  • Campus roll out meetings will begin July 2015.

Future Recommendations:
  • Team recommends the implementation of the Banner Travel module or develop an in-house electronic process.
