Graduate Assistant - eContract Redesign
Project Scope:
Review current Graduate Assistance eContract system to enhance and simply current
process. The team will identify issues, concerns and identify changes and implement
improvements. The project team will:
- Identify pains and issues
- identify where process can be improved and streamlined
- Include systematic validations using Banner as the source
- Eliminate revisions
- Review current dashboards
- Review email messages
- Determine if EPAF (Employee Personal Action Forms) can be simplified
- Create a new 'TO BE' mapping document
PROPOSED TIMELINE: 06/2021 - 06/2022
Project Updates:
- Add new system validations for student's eligibility to hire and provide tuition assistance
- Separate Tuition and Job Assignments records
- Ability for each job assignment and tuition record to be charged to appropriate department and approval routing
- Ability to cancel tuition and job assignments separately
- Contracts can be created for a full academic year
- Eliminated manual data entry of departmental JV charges and student awards by automating feeds to Banner
