Welcome to Physical Plant!

The Physical Plant Department of the University of Memphis is charged with the operation and maintenance of the physical facilities, as well as the landscape of the University. All changes to University landscape or physical facilities is coordinated through the Physical Plant Department.

The University of Memphis is essentially considered a small city. Because of this, Physical Plant employs more than 300 men and women to help serve the needs of the faculty, staff and students.
