Sexual Offender Registry
Pursuant to legislation, effective October 27, 2002, University of Memphis police will be notified when an individual who is registered in Tennessee as a sex offender enrolls as a student or begins work as a volunteer on the campus. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is responsible for notifying the University police. Registered sex offenders have ten (10) days to notify TBI by completing a TBI Sexual Offender Registration/Monitoring Form and having it delivered to TBI.
A log of registered sex offenders will be maintained in the dispatch office of Police Services and will be available for viewing 24 hours a day, every day (weekends and holidays included). The Police Services Dispatch office is located in the Zach Curlin Parking Garage and can be reached at 901.678.4357.
Currently, there is one offender registered with Police Services. This website will be updated should this registration change.
