Eligibility

Opportunity Scholars must:

• Apply and be admitted to the UofM
• Have lived in TN for at least one year
• Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and have been involved in a leadership initiative
• Be ineligible to receive federal or state financial aid
• Have DACA or TPS status
• Have taken the SAT or ACT
• Demonstrate significant unmet financial need
• Pay income taxes
• Have a defined career goal
