Title IX & Sexual Misconduct
The University of Memphis is committed to providing an environment that is free from discrimination on the basis of sex to our campus community, in compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013.
Sexual misconduct is a form of sex discrimination strictly prohibited by the University, which includes, but is not limited to, sexual assault, sexual harassment, domestic/dating violence or stalking. As such, all reported allegations of sexual misconduct, as defined by GE2039 - Interim Sexual Harassment & Sexual/Gender-Based Misconduct Policy will be investigated and adjudicated accordingly.
