Aisha Elnour

Meet Aisha Elnour

Aisha's passion for healthcare grew stronger after shadowing nurses and realizing their impact on patients. What excites her most about LCON is the hands-on experience she gains through clinical and simulation labs. Aisha became a student ambassador to help new students find their way and make the most of the resources available to them. Originally from Sudan, Aisha’s experiences navigating different healthcare systems have deepened her commitment to the field. She hopes to inspire future nurses while continuing to grow as a leader.


 

Mateo Flores

Meet Mateo Flores

Mateo is a first-generation Mexican-American college student with a passion for helping others through nursing. He chose LCON to stay close to his family and support system while pursuing a career dedicated to guiding patients through their most challenging moments. For Mateo, the friendships he has built at LCON—classmates who feel like family and professors who genuinely care—have made nursing school an unforgettable journey. As a Student Ambassador, he hopes to support and inspire fellow students, ensuring they feel prepared, confident, and never alone in their journey.

 


 

Zacharie "Blessy" Garcia

Meet Zacharie "Blessy" Garcia

Blessy chose nursing because it allows her to help others while combining both medical and emotional support for patients. Drawn to the healthcare field, she appreciates the unique role that nursing plays in caring for people during their most vulnerable moments. As an LCON Ambassador, Blessy wanted to share her experiences with other students, offering guidance and reassurance to those navigating the challenges of nursing school. Through this role, she aims to develop her leadership skills while giving back to the LCON community.


 

Sydney Hall

Meet Sydney Hall

Sydney chose nursing because of her passion for healthcare, medicine, and helping people, seeing it as a field where she could apply her interests in various ways. She was drawn to LCON for its sense of community and its reputation for producing exceptional nurses. Sydney’s favorite aspect of being a student at LCON is the access to resources that promote career growth. As a student ambassador, she enjoys being a welcoming presence to new faces on campus and has found building connections with peers and faculty to be the most rewarding part of the role. Originally from Nashville, Sydney has been in Memphis since 2019 and is proud of her perseverance in nursing school, proving to herself that she can overcome challenges and succeed.


 

 

Zaria Raglin

Meet Zaria Raglin

Zaria is a first-generation college student with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. She chose nursing to be a trusted presence for patients in vulnerable moments and selected LCON for its supportive environment that fosters personal growth. What stands out to her most about LCON is its dedicated faculty, who not only excel in the classroom but also show up for students beyond it. As a Student Ambassador, Zaria hopes to be the guiding voice she once needed, using her journey to inspire and support others. One of her most rewarding experiences so far has been participating in the LCON photoshoot, where she connected with peers and shared ideas. A poet, sister, and intellectual, Zaria draws strength from her family, who continue to inspire her every day. As the eldest of six siblings, she developed a deep sense of care and responsibility, which ultimately led her to pursue nursing. Through her role as an ambassador, she hopes to strengthen her leadership skills and leave a lasting impact on future nursing students.


 

 


Ingryd Da Rocha

Meet Ingryd Seixas Da Rocha

Ingryd chose nursing to support people during their most vulnerable moments and was inspired by the impact compassion and care can have. She selected LCON for its strong reputation in preparing nursing students for successful careers. Ingryd’s favorite aspect of LCON is the sense of community and support among both faculty and students, which motivates her to succeed. As a student ambassador, she enjoys sharing her passion for nursing and helping prospective students discover the opportunities LCON offers. Originally from northern Brazil, Ingryd’s upbringing in the Amazon rainforest fostered her resilience and passion for helping others.


 

Amir Hamilton

Meet Amir Hamilton

Amir describes himself as genuine, morally focused, and driven by faith, family, and the desire to serve others. Called by God to care for others, Amir chose nursing because it allows him to live out that calling. He chose LCON for its strong values and supportive culture. As a student ambassador, Amir is passionate about spreading the spirit of support and encouragement at LCON, while also inspiring prospective students to follow their nursing journeys.


 

Madison Hammett

Meet Madison Hammett

Madison chose nursing to make a meaningful impact on others, inspired by her mother, a nurse admired by her patients. She chose LCON to stay close to her Memphis support system, and her favorite part of LCON is its strong sense of community, where both students and faculty offer constant support. As a student ambassador, Madison enjoys giving prospective students a behind-the-scenes look at LCON’s nurturing environment. Originally from Jackson, MS, Madison moved to Memphis as a child, recently joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and stays active in her church, Life Church.


 

Tamara Rucker 

Meet Tamara Rucker

Tamara’s passion for caring for others and making a real impact led her to nursing. She chose LCON Lambuth for its supportive, close-knit community, which has helped her grow both academically and personally. One of her favorite parts of the program is the hands-on simulations—they're so realistic that they make every lesson feel like the real deal. As a Student Ambassador, Tamara loves connecting with incoming students, guiding them through their transition, and building lasting relationships. She’s excited to develop her leadership skills while inspiring future nurses to chase their dreams in healthcare.

 

 

Simone Sanders

Meet Simone M. Sanders

Simone has always wanted to help those in need and sees nursing as the perfect way to do so. She values the supportive environment at LCON, where faculty and peers alike are there for each other through the challenges of nursing school. Simone became a student ambassador to give prospective students hope and guidance as they navigate the rigorous nursing program. She hopes to inspire young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to see that they have the power to shape their own stories.


 

Emma Smith

Meet Emma Smith

Emma is in her third semester of nursing school and has had a deep respect and love for the nursing profession from a young age. She is passionate about caring for patients and their families and plans to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse after graduation. Emma chose to become a Student Ambassador to give back to the LCON community, which has been incredibly supportive throughout her nursing journey. She hopes to provide the same encouragement and guidance to fellow students as they navigate their own paths in nursing.


 

Lanecia S. Walker

Meet Lanecia S. Walker

Lanecia’s passion for helping others led her to pursue nursing, and she chose LCON because of its diversity and excellent reputation. As a student ambassador, she strives to guide prospective students through their college decision process. Lanecia enjoys connecting with new people and sharing her journey to inspire others. She is a single mother of two boys and hopes to show them that there are no limits to success. Her rewarding experiences as an ambassador motivate her to continue positively influencing future nurses.


 

Annissa Veyo

Meet Annissa Veyo

Annissa pursued nursing to harness the power of empathy in building meaningful connections with patients during their most vulnerable moments. She chose LCON for its diverse environment and rigorous coursework, which provide the foundation for becoming a skilled and compassionate nurse. Annissa values the strong relationships she has built with fellow students and faculty and became a Student Ambassador to foster representation in healthcare. She hopes to inspire others to recognize their potential and create a welcoming environment where nursing students feel empowered to succeed.
