Dr. Angela Oigbokie Appointed Nursing Leadership Concentration Coordinator

LCON appoints Dr. Angela Oigbokie as the MSN Nursing Leadership Concentration Coordinator, effective May 15, 2024. Dr. Oigbokie brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role, having previously taught in the executive leadership program and possessing several years of experience guiding graduate students within the FNP program.

The transition to the Nursing Leadership concentration marks a significant curricular change within our MSN programs. Under the interim leadership of Dr. Jason Sasser, the concentration underwent extensive revision to ensure inclusivity and relevance. Dr. Sasser, who adeptly managed this transition, will continue to support the concentration until the graduation of the last executive leadership students in the upcoming spring and summer terms.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Sasser for his dedicated interim leadership and eagerly anticipate Dr. Oigbokie's contributions in guiding and shaping the future leaders of nursing within the MSN program.
