About Jason Sasser
Dr. Jason Sasser is a clinical associate professor at the Loewenberg College of Nursing. He received his doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
His current research interests include quality improvement in primary care. Dr. Sasser teaches courses in the BSN and MSN programs. Also, he serves on the LCON faculty affairs committee (chair), undergraduate admissions committee, undergraduate council, and student research forum workgroup.
He is a certified critical-care registered nurse (CCRN-K) and a certified family nurse practitioner (NP-C). His practice experience includes bedside critical-care and advanced practice primary care nursing.
Dr. Sasser maintains memberships with Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, Tennessee Nurses Association, American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, Greater Memphis Area Advanced Practice Nurses, and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
