About Tracy Collins
Dr. Tracy Collins primarily instructs in the Loewenberg College of Nursing (LCON) Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner program. An Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) and educator, she is the clinical coordinator for the FNP program.
Dr. Collins is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has worked as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the city of Memphis for 17 years. Her professional history includes experience in critical care, emergency department, gastroenterology, patient/family counseling, teaching procedural delivery, supporting administrative personnel, staff development, preceptor functions, and course developing.
She presently works in a local Memphis clinic and holds memberships with the National League for Nurses (NLN), the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF), and the Greater Memphis Area Advanced Practice Nurses (GMAAPN). She serves as an advisor to MSN students and is on Evaluation and Curriculum committees in the College.
Dr. Collins shares her life with her husband and two boys. Her hobbies included sharing special time with family, attending church, and watching HGTV.
