About Sheri Howard
Dr. Sheri Howard has been actively involved in nursing education for the past 17 years and is a certified healthcare simulation educator. She teaches in both the undergraduate level and the RN-BSN program.
Dr. Howard is a member of the Tennessee Simulation Alliance, the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL), as well as Sigma Theta Tau International. She is the Chair of the Technology Committee, and serves on the Nursing Curriculum Committee, as well as the Dean's Leadership Council and the Dean's Advisory Board. She serves on the University Teaching and Learning Advisory Committee and the Dean's Technology Access Fee's (TAF) committee.
Sheri's hobbies include traveling, especially to the beach, cooking and reading. Her
and her husband, Guy, also love golf. Both play in the Master's each year. She has a
daughter Samantha who graduated Medical School and is currently in her residency in
Memphis.
