- Be sure that you’ve completed your FAFSA with the University of Memphis listed as your first school. School Code: 003509
- View your current Financial Aid Award status and requirements on the Account$ tab of your MyMemphis portal to ensure that all requirements are fulfilled. This is also where you will accept/decline award offers.
- If you would like to schedule an appointment, email financialaid@memphis.edu with “New Student Orientation Appointment” in the Subject Line.

- Fee Payment Deadline: August 17
- Students must pay their tuition & fees in full or enroll in an Installment Payment Plan before this date. View and pay bills through TigerXpress on your MyMemphis portal.
- Visit the USBS website to estimate tuition & fees.
- Be sure to upload your Campus Card photo. You’ll receive an email with pickup instructions once we return to normal business operations.

Once you’ve completed your virtual NSO session, your academic advisor will reach out to schedule an appointment within 3-5 business days. Be sure to check your @memphis.edu email address!
- Explore your class options by reviewing the Undergraduate Catalog.
- Make sure you’ve satisfied all immunization requirements prior to your academic advising meeting.
- Ensure that all dual enrollment credits and AP test scores have been submitted for accurate course recommendations.
- Apply for the Helen Hardin Honors College if you are eligible and haven’t already! Learn more about eligibility and the perks of being an Honors student on their website.

- The Counseling Center provides 6 free sessions per semester for students and unlimited group therapy.
- The Student Health Center employs a variety of healthcare professionals available to treat minor medical conditions, most of which are no cost to students. You can make an appointment online, or visit during their limited walk-in hours.
- The Relaxation Zone and Oasis Room offers a quiet space with a variety of relaxation stations and stress relieving activities. It’s totally free to students and located in 302 Brister Hall!

- Be sure to rent or buy all of your textbooks and course materials before the start of classes! The University of Memphis Bookstore allows to you to pre-order online, and they give back to the university with every purchase. Be sure to grab some Tiger apparel while you’re there!

- A general parking pass will be sent to your mailing address on file the week before classes start. Log in to TigerPark on your MyMemphis account to purchase priority or resident parking, and visit the Parking & Transportation Services site to learn more.
